New Maps

New Maps have been consistently coming out the past 10 years, maps are now being applied to a lot of things, apart from using them for geography and cartography, new maps are now commonly used in business and scientific research. These New Maps are made with different technologies that we enjoy today. Most of them have a very low learning curve and by understanding simple concepts like entering the name of your prospective location you can easily go there. It can also be used as visual tools and business plans. Here are some examples of the most common new maps being used in the market today:

 
 1. GPS
Global Positioning System has been a great discovery over the past few years and its ability to digitally connect places, people and information together have improved tracking and locating ten-fold. It now allows people to go to places faster and computers to automatically navigate through places in autopilot. It can also be used through Cellphones and other gadgets like PDA’s and Hi-tech Watches.


2. Digital Maps
Digital Maps are also very useful in the market today these maps are used to create visual tools to allow people to see prospective plans and places in a few clicks of a button. Digital maps are defined as maps that can be accessed through computers rather than written in paper and its advantages are unlimited, since you can easily put captions, customize and edit the places you want in a certain map in no time. Plus the fact that these types of maps are usually as small as mobile phones and PDA’s are also very beneficial for individuals on the go.

3. Business Maps
Business Maps are slowly being a norm these days, and though there are many variations the two most common ones are: Mindmaps and Process Maps. Everything else is a variation of this method.

> Mindmaps - are maps that come from the radiant mindset where in you put all your thoughts firsts then arrange them after, business processes that come from these are business plans and concept proposals. This is the most effective map in terms of getting a good brainstorm and crystal clear concept.

> Process Maps – Subsequently more popular than mindmaps, process maps are what computers work on. Mindmaps will take care of getting all the ideas for you while Process Maps are more on the execution part of the equation and all you have to do is enter the options in the process map and you will see results, quickly.
